Balenciaga for women

Spanish brand Balenciaga was founded in 1919 by Cristóbal Balenciaga in the Basque Country, Spain, before moving to France and opening a boutique in Paris in 1937 due to the Spanish Civil War. The brand is best known for revolutionizing women's fashion by reworking it with new shapes in the mid-20th century, such as the "semi-fit" lines of the mid-1950s and the introduction of the "sack dress" in 1957. The current creative director, Georgian designer Demna Gvasalia, works closely with the archives of the Balenciaga House to examine the founder's original designs in order to maintain artistic integrity in terms of cut, shape and material. Furthermore, says Gvasalia, that his approach to the brand is based on deconstruction to create something else: "destroy to create". Following this concept, the Balenciaga brand today continues to create clothing and accessories focusing in particular on modernity, comfort, functionality to create an aesthetically pleasing and unique image. The Balenciaga Woman collection by Ratti Boutique selects clothing, such as t-shirts and even dresses, and accessories with the brand's unique and unmistakable shapes.
