Herno was founded by Giuseppe Marenzi in 1948, who after his experience as a soldier in the Second World War, decides to set himself a goal: to create waterproof garments, coats that are well made and functional, resistant to hostile climates while always preserving elegance and style. Immediately a challenge, since to make the fabrics waterproof, it is necessary to use refined materials, which Marenzi nevertheless manages to procure. Raincoats, both for men and women, remain today the key garments of the first Herno productions, but in the following years the company also deals with cashmere coats and double-face products. In addition, jackets, suits and dresses for women will be created with extreme attention to detail and diversification: an approach that will make Herno famous in Europe and in the world. The Woman's Herno collection by Ratti Boutique is characterized by a wide selection of down jackets in different colors and designs and padded gilets.
